Support of the National INROADS Alumni
Association (NIAA)
OAR works in concert with the NIAA by
providing administrative and programmatic
support, as well as in an advisory capacity.
Alumni Executive Roundtable
The current Alumni Executive Roundtable is
comprised of twenty-five INROADS Alumni, who
have achieved top level positions and
executive experience in Corporate America.
They are INROADS Champions actively involved
in INROADS business development and serving
on local boards. They serve as a sounding
board and advisory to OAR/INROADS, Inc.
New Alumni Recognition Program
OAR works with local offices (formerly
affiliates), and the NIAA, to ceremonially
acknowledge the graduation of INROADS Intern
to INROADS Alumni status. In formally
welcoming new alumni, we continue the
INROADS connection beyond the Internship
Process.
Alumni Research
In collaboration with NIAA, other INROADS
departments and external agencies OAR
monitors alumni trends, collect and analyze
data related to careers, alumni personal and
professional accomplishments, and community
service; conducts periodic surveys of alumni
helps to determine appropriate programs,
services and events to address their needs
and interests; and funnels relevant
information to INROADS stakeholders to
assist corporate decision making.
National Alumni Database
OAR maintains alumni records and works with
specialized agencies to track alumni
information. Provides a variety of reports
to INROADS Staff & Clients regarding alumni
employments and professional achievements.
INROADS Professional Connection (IPC)
A centralized and confidential resume
referral service that offers interaction
between alumni who are seeking new career
opportunities, and clients who are seeking
exceptional talent.
Alumni Publications
OAR and the NIAA produce and disseminate
value-added literature that promotes and
chronicles alumni activities and
achievements including newsletters,
directories, surveys and periodic
announcements.
Alumni Ambassadors
INROADS Alumni contribute time and talent to
the INROADS organization in many ways.
Alumni Ambassadors assist with intern
recruitment on college campuses, in
providing client referrals and leveraging
client business, conducting mock interviews
at Talent Pool and in intern training as
mentors, keynote speakers, workshop
facilitators and volunteers at local offices
and Leadership Development Institutes (LDI).
Alumni Philanthropy
OAR solicits financial gifts from alumni,
and encourages them to seek potential
matching gifts from their employers to
assist INROADS. The Annual Personal Giving
Drive (APGD) and the Resource Development
Campaigns (RDC) are two fundraising programs
to which alumni contribute. Several alumni
have given significant financial gifts
either a single donation or utilizing our
one-year or multi-year pledge plans. As a
501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, most
financial contributions to INROADS are
tax-deductible.
