INROADS is an organization that seeks to increase business career opportunities and knowledge for the best ethnically diverse students , while giving corporations the opportunity to develop diverse managerial talent. In response to the growing demand from business for talented, qualified , diverse employees , INROADS was established to identify interested, capable high school, college and university students who would pursue business, engineering, computer and information sciences, sales, marketing, allied health care, healthcare management, and retail management careers.

MISSION: Develop and place talented minority youth in business and industry and prepare them for corporate and community leadership.

Message from the NIAA Chair

 “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose…” How befitting that Fall is upon us. It is a season that brings with it Harvest and a time where it’s important to gather together and amass the riches of the land. As we make this transition of seasons, the National INROADS Alumni Association has transitioned as well.
 At our National Conference in August 2007, I was elected to serve as your Chairman of the Board, and I am eager to act and represent the 22,000+ INROADS Alumni, nationwide. I am thrilled about the opportunities to leverage our relationship with other organizations both within and beyond our spectrum. The enthusiasm our Board has and continues to display reaffirms the hope that we will remain a viable entity today, tomorrow and forever.

I challenge you, my fellow alum, to step-up to the forefront and help us realize our great potential. If your INROADS experience meant anything to you, then you already know you have a responsibility to give back to our up-and-coming alums and ensure that our organization continues to fulfill its mission.

I’m asking for you to get involved within your local or regional area, and at the national level because your talents, skills and knowledge are needed.

Change is never easy, however, it is inevitable and as the seasons change we must adapt and prepare ourselves to accept it, embrace it and most importantly, triumph over it.
